With the arrival of a tower crane, construction has kicked into high gear for G8, a $100-million mixed-use apartment complex from California Landmark Group.
Located on a T-shaped property at 4040 Del Rey Avenue, the project will consist of a podium-type building containing 230 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with 25,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of common amenities.
Rios Clementi Hale Studios designed the project, which will incorporate landscaped open areas including a roof deck, courtyards, and a publicly-accessible pocket park in Beach Avenue.
G8, which is one of a handful of developments that California Landmark Group has built in the Marina Arts District, is scheduled for completion in 2019.
