Ken Kahan founded California Landmark Group (CLG) in 1988. Since its inception, CLG has invested in and developed all types of real estate, from residential to commercial. Under Ken’s leadership, the company has developed over three (3) million square feet of innovative projects.
CLG has distinguished itself in Southern California in both the design and development of dozens of multi-family communities. Ken spearheaded development of the company’s signature by CLG residences, properties that have pioneered walkable, luxury residential living by integrating resort-style amenities and services classically found in condominiums. With an eye for quality and design, Ken is focused on crafting truly unique living experiences in every residence.
Ken is passionate about all aspects of urban planning and development and participates in many governmental planning initiatives. He is a frequent speaker on matters pertaining to entitlements and zoning at the LA Planning Department, UCLA Anderson School of Business, ULI, BIA and other real estate organizations. As a former Bruin, he also is a member of the Advisory Board of the Ziman Center for Real Estate.
In his spare time, Ken participates in several philanthropic organizations. He is currently the chair of RPO, a group of philanthropic local and national real estate executives based in Los Angeles. Ken is on the board and/or executive committees of the LA Jewish Federation, American Jewish University, The Holocaust Museum of LA and contributes to many other worthy charitable organizations.
