Lou Jacobs, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, joined California Landmark Group (CLG) in 1998. He is responsible for all aspects of the company including financial analysis, underwriting, tax planning and management of all projects and investments. Lou oversees the sales and acquisition transactions at CLG along with debt and equity placements.
Lou received a BS in Business Administration at California State University at Northridge (CSUN) and became a licensed CPA in 1983. He began his professional career at the “Big 8” accounting firm Arthur Young and Company, specializing in clients involved in all aspects of real estate development. Prior to CLG, he served as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently President of Austram U.S. Inc., responsible for the Australian company’s entire U.S. portfolio.
Lou resides in West LA with his wife Karre and son. Three older daughters have graduated college and flown east. They all love to travel and try to get away as often as possible. Lou has served on budget committees at local schools and other non-profit organizations. He is a passionate hockey fan and supporter of the LA Kings—you’ll find him at their games as often as possible.
